Almost 30 years ago, David Palmer with the support of his wife Marg, decided to use his extensive experience in the earthmoving industry to establish their own business, Palmer Earthmoving.

David’s primary focus was to create a company that had a strong focus on safety with capacity to deliver an integrated earthmoving service to both contractors and individuals in the Great Southern Region.

Through hard work and commitment, Palmers have grown their business, building a sustainable regional business that continues to trade on its name and hard earned reputation for quality, value and reliability.

Over the years, the Palmer family grew providing Crushing and varied civil construction services inlcuding raoding, shouldering, sub-divisions, dam building, clearing vegetation control etc. Despite its significant growth, Palmer Civil Construction has retained their operational base in Albany and continues to be part of the local community by providing support through training, jobs and sponsorship of community organisations and events.

Palmer Earthmoving, now Palmer Civil Construction, has enjoyed success because it has constantly evolved and adapted during the different phases of the economic cycle and has always maintained its close connections with the Great Southern community. By investing in the best plant and technology and diversifying its operations, Palmer Civil Construction services projects from the south of Western Australia with outreach as far north as Kununurra!

As the industry adjusts to a new economic landscape, so too will PCC to meet the many challenges of the 21st Century and see the company through the next phase of development.
