Millbrook Rd contract award

Palmer Civil Construction was awarded the Millbrook Rd contract by the City Of Albany in 2018. The project has recently been completed, with the scope of works including the construction of earthworks, road works and drainage. It involved full width pavement reconstruction, pavement overlay, rehabilitation and shape/correction of the existing pavement, plus widening of the existing road. The project was completed within the timeframe.
Heavy Diesel Apprenticeship

Palmer Civil Construction are proud to be actively involved in training and up-skilling our workforce. We currently have Michael Kerr engaged in his second year of a Heavy Plant Mechanical apprenticeship. Michael is a valued member of our organisation and we are excited to be able to give him the opportunity to obtain a large range of new skills culminating in the award of a Nationally recognised trade qualification.
The benefits in employing apprentices go both ways, as It is a time proven fact that time and loyalty invested into an apprentice is rewarded in the form of gaining a long term enthusiastic and loyal employee, trained specifically to meet the diverse requirements of the business.
Ravensthorpe WANDRRA 2017 contract award

Palmer Civil Construction was awarded Works Package 9 & 10 by the Shire of Ravensthorpe. The works are due to commence and will take place on Woodenup Road and Moolyall Road. The scope of works includes Floodway repairs/replacement;
- Reinstatement of side and outfall drains to the existing lines and levels;
- Shoulder repairs, including subgrade compaction and basecourse placement and compaction;
- Pavement repairs, including reworking subgrade and supply and placement of basecourse material;
- Gravel resheet, including supply, placement and compaction of the gravel;
- Road reconstruction; where warranted to include all above from back-slope to backslope
- Headwall repairs, including reinstating to their original location, repairing open joints with mortar and reinstatement to the culvert inlet / outfall areas; and
- Clearing of the culverts, including removing any debris/silt and flushing silt from the culverts, including culvert inlet / outfall areas.
