The Scope of works included:
- breaking, excavation and stockpiling of rock;
- crushing, screening and stockpiling of37mm minus Ferricrete base-course material to Main Roads specifications;
- crushing, screening and stockpiling of rock to produce 20mm – 40mm product; and
- crushing, screening and stockpiling of rock to produce 40mm – 80mm product.
The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) covers the Cities of Belmont, Bayswater and Swan, the Town of Bassendean and the Shires of Mundaring and Kalamunda. They are leaders in managing landfill procedures and plan to on-sell this product to the local community and contractors, thereby making room for further landfill cells.
